I grew up in Whitefish, Montana as the daughter of a custom home builder and have been immersed in the trade from a young age.  I followed my passion for design to Bozeman, Montana where I received my interior design degree and went on to spend several years designing high-end mountain homes.

Eager to expand my horizons, I relocated and joined a corporate architecture firm in Seattle, where my focus was on large-scale commercial remodels for a leading industry tech company. Eventually, I realized that I preferred working closely with families to create unique, personalized spaces and found my way back to residential design in the Seattle area.

During a sabbatical spent surfing in Portugal, driving through Mexico, and skiing in British Columbia, I began to collaborate with a client remotely on an extensive historic remodel in my hometown and thus the first project of LK Interior Design was born.

 Freshly inspired by my travels and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I settled in Bellingham, Washington and launched LK Interior Design.
